FAQ's
What sizes do you print?
Our sizes correspond to the standard paper sizes:
Small - A4 - 210x297mm
Medium - A3 - 297x420mm
Large - A2 - 420x594mm
XLarge - A1 - 594x841mm
XXLarge - A0 - 841x1189mm
Your image will be printed so that it best fits into these standard sizes. We pride ourselves on producing the best prints you can get - so, for example, we will only print at A0 if the image is of high enough resolution for it to look wonderful.
What are the different paper types?
All our papers are archival and are printed with archival inks. Non-archival prints are vastly inferior and fade within a year or two.
260 Photographic Lustre - this is our recommendation for photos.
Fine Art Paper 240g - this textured matte paper is our finest paper and offers the best reproduction for oil paintings, watercolours and the vintage prints.
Canvas (archival) - this is a high quality canvas and is our recommendation for printing your own artwork or reproducing anything that was originally painted on canvas. If you order a print on canvas it will be sent to you rolled up in a tube (for canvas on a frame you must select - Canvas on Stretcher Frame).
Canvas on Stretcher Frame - if you select this then you get your art printed on canvas and stretched over a frame - ready to hang.
Our stretched canvases are our most popular products. The edges are mirrored to produce the 'gallery wrap' effect. Our frames don't warp and hang for years and years.
Block Mounted Print with Black Edges - your print is pasted onto a board that has the edges painted black.
These block mounts are also a very popular option - ready to hang.
What payment options do you offer?
You can pay by EFT directly to us - either to our Standard Bank or FNB accounts.
We also accept Credit Card Payments through the Payfast gateway.
If you would like to pay by some other means please contact us by email.
What are your stretched canvases?
Stretched Canvases is the name given to a canvas print that is stretched over a wooden frame and is ready to hang.
We make these is all sizes from A4 up to A0. The larger sizes use larger frames and have central supports so they don't warp.
All our canvases have mirrored edges and are 22mm deep. The canvases are all archival quality and printed with archival inks.
Our team that stretch the canvases have been doing this for many, many years and we believe we do the best 'stretched canvases' our there.
