About Shipping and Returns

We undertake to package all of our goods with the utmost care to ensure that no damage occurs during transit.

All our framed images are sent by courier.

Almost all our prints are sent by courier in reinforced tubes with an 11 cm diameter so they don't get bent.  You can also request that we send them by the postal service to a Post Office.

How will my frame be packaged?

Our frames are securely packaged in cardboard boxes with packing material to prevent shaking of the frame and any other damage during shipping.

How will my print be packaged?

All our unframed prints are rolled and shipped in reinforced tubes that have been specifically designed for the purpose of shipping paper art.

How will my order be shipped?

Framed Images will be delivered by our couriers, Business Express (BEX) utilising their Normal Cargo service for our South African clients. That means that your frame will be delivered to you the day after shipping.

For neighbouring countries, we utilise BEX's International Express Road Freight service with typical transit times of 2 to 3 days.

How do I know my order has been shipped?

We will send you an email advising you that your order has been shipped. You can track the status of your order at any time by logging into your account on our website.

Can I ship to a PO Box address?

You can have your print shipped to a PO Box if you have requested postal delivery.

All framed images will need to be shipped to a physical address where someone can sign for the goods during normal working hours.

What are South African Major Centres, Regional Areas and Remote Areas?

The cities of Bloemfontein, Cape Town, Durban, East London, George, Johannesburg, Kimberly, Port Elizabeth and Pretoria are all included in our 'major centres' shipping prices.

Locations that are within approximately 50km of these city centres are labelled as Regional Areas.

All other locations in South Africa are classified as 'Remote Areas' for the purposes of our courier deliveries.

What countries are covered by your Express Road Freight service?

Our cross border road freight service is available to Botswana, Namibia, Lesotho and Swaziland.

What about International Import duties?

Our international shipping rates do not include the costs of any import duties or taxes in the destination country. These costs are the responsibility of our customers and will need to be paid on delivery of the goods.

What if my goods are damaged when they arrive?

Damaged items should be reported immediately to workART – either by emailing us at info@workart.co.za or by telephone. We will then advise you what to do.

We will not replace damaged goods that have not been reported as damaged within 30 days of receipt of the goods.

Return of goods?

We are confident that our goods will meet your highest expectations, if , however, you are not satisfied with the goods you may return them within 30 days of receipt of the goods and we will give you a full refund. No shipping charges will be refunded.
